Sourdough Pizza Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C).
  2. Combine sourdough starter, flour, and salt in a bowl. Knead into a soft dough. Let rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Form the dough into a circle of your desired thickness and size. Place on a circular oven-safe pan.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until dough looks dry, about 5 minutes. Brush all over with olive oil.


  • Cook's Notes:
  • Add a little water to your dough if it is not soft enough.
  • Once finished, sprinkle your favorite pizza toppings on top and return it to the oven. Bake until crust is crispy and chewy, 20 to 30 minutes. Bake on a pizza stone if you have one.

I think this is a great recipe, but it seriously needs water. I tend to add anywhere from 1/2 cup to 1 cup of water. it allows more flexibility in the dough and not so stiff. I also let it rest ...
