  1. Coat tops of mushrooms with olive oil. Place mushrooms top-down in a grill-safe dish.
  2. Mix blue cheese, butter, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper thoroughly in a bowl. Scoop evenly into the mushroom caps.
  3. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate. Cook mushrooms until tender and heated through, about 5 minutes.

  • Portobello mushrooms would work, too.

It was a bit "watery" and the 2nd time I made it I reduced the butter. Also made it with crumbled feta giving it milder flavor and more acceptable to some palates

Made for friends that aren’t big mushroom fans, but they ate them all. It’s an easy recipe to make
