I whipped this up one day to put over a chocolate cake I made in a Bundt® cake pan. If you like white chocolate, you'll like this ganache.

  • Pour heavy cream into a saucepan over medium heat; heat until just boiling. Remove from heat; add white chocolate chips. Whisk gently until white chocolate chips are melted and blended into the cream. Let cool until slightly thickened, about 15 minutes.

The taste of this was very good but it was a bit too runny. It never thickened. Maybe the ratio of white chocolate to heavy whipping cream is wrong. If I make it again I will add more white chocolate or less heavy whipping cream. Read More

Based on the other reviews about it being runny, added about 1/4 extra white chocolate chips (along with 1 t vanilla and a pinch of salt). I heated the cream first (and wanted a coffee version, so I added about 1 T of espresso powder to the cream), and added the cream directly to the chips. I finished stirring over a double boiler, and it turned out to be the right consistency and delicious. Read More

I think this recipe is great.
