Blueberry Blintz-Wich

Rated as 4 out of 5 Stars

"This simple sandwich is the love child of a blueberry blintz and a cream-cheese-and-jelly sandwich. To make this sandwich, only the very freshest bread and the very freshest sour cream should ever be used. Also, proper blueberry blintz-wiches are always prepared immediately before eating, never ahead of time."

  1. Place bread slices on a plate. Spread sour cream onto 1 slice of bread. Gently spread blueberry preserves across the sour cream; top with second slice of bread.

  • Cook's Notes:
  • A soft roll can be used in place of the bread, if desired. If you're using a roll, split it open, but leave the two halves conjoined by a hinge.
  • If you don't know what's good for you, slice the sandwich in half. Otherwise, set down your knife. Engage your neck napkin and your lap napkin. Lean over your plate. Focus. Lap up any blueberry or sour cream effusions around the equator of your world. Eat your blintz-wich. Smile a blue smile.

Pleasantly surprised. This is something I would eat for a quick sugar fix. I can see how kids would love this. Messy and delicious, what else can you ask for?
