  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  • In a large bowl, mix together the applesauce, eggs and oil until well blended. Stir in the cake mix. Mix in the peanut butter chips, chocolate chips and pecans. Drop by spoonfuls or roll into balls and place 2 inches apart onto unprepared cookie sheets.

  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

I don't know what happened to my cookies but they do not look like the photo. Using the chocolate cake mix made them dark chocolate in color. They were cake like "fluffy" cookies. Not at all what was expected. Read More

I did change it a bit. Someone else had said that they added two eggs and used half white and half brown sugar and more vanilla. I used coconut flour in place of the wheat flour and used 1T vanilla. They turned out awesome. I am very happy. Sandy P - Cameron Park CA Read More
