  1. Mix butter, milk, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl.
  2. Combine flour, brown sugar, white sugar, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl; slowly mix into butter mixture, beating on low speed with an electric mixer until dough is just combined.
  3. Fold chocolate chips and walnuts into dough; drop by rounded tablespoon onto waxed paper.

  • Add more flour if the dough is too soft or sticky, or add more milk if the dough is too stiff.

Didn't have chocolate chips but added peanut butter tasted so much better . I also added a splash of milk made it creamier.

Great flavor. I did use salted butter, and I have to add an extra 1/4 cup of milk as it was much too dry.

It was good but needs more brown sugar and don't use salted butter!

It was delicious!

A good basic dough for eating or truffles etc. I would prefer more brown sugar.
