Kentucky Blue Ribbon All-Butter Pound Cake

Rated as 4.14 out of 5 Stars

"This is the recipe my Grandmother would make every year during the holidays. I found the recipe tucked in her Bible when she passed, and it was written in her Grandmother's handwriting. It's been in my family for at least 7 generations, and in 2012, I won a Blue Ribbon at the Kentucky State fair by following her exact instructions. Tastes like pure love!"

This is a very good recipe. One to surely be a family tradition. I did cut the sugar back to 2 1/2 cups vs. 3. Other than that, it’s perfect. Thank you for sharing this now to be our family favo...

Swapped dairy free butter and lactaid milk and added a tsp lemon extract and it was wonderful cooked up perfect.

I followed the recipe making no changes. I will definitely make it again. A very moist pound cake. I always make a pound cake in a very long loaf pan by Wilton.

I made no changes, yes I will make it again...thank you.
