I needed an easy strawberry frosting to frost my daughter's birthday cake. I used the same cream cheese frosting recipe my mom used to make for my cakes when I was a kid and just tossed in the gelatin. This works well for frosting or as a filler between cake layers. Keep refrigerated.

I was actually thinking of making this in my own, but it's nice to have a recipes so that I have the right amount of ingredients for my frosting. I didn't end up using any vanilla, but I think it's still turned out just fine without it. My daughter is going to love her pink Peppa Pig cake! Read More
