  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray 2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

  • In large bowl, stir together oats, pumpkin pie spice and baking powder.

  • Stir in pumpkin, milk, water, syrup, egg and vanilla extract until well combined. Stir in apples.

  • Pour into baking dish. Sprinkle with pecans.

  • Bake 30 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.

  • Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

This was a great morning casserole. I added a spoonful more pumpkin than called and used walnuts instead of pecans. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because it was fairly bland, I added salt and cinnamon after to give it more flavor. Read More

Not a fan. I saw other reviews about blandness and tried to up the flavor with additional pumpkin pie spice and raisins. It's still bland and the texture is off-putting, even after an extra 15 minutes of baking. Read More
