Great recipe! I did make mine in the slow cooker because I had a busy day ahead of me. I took the advice of other reviews and made the cornstarch mixture more than called for. I also threw in some frozen corn and peas I had in the freezer during the last hour. I did dredge the meat in flour that was seasoned, as per Chuck Sampson. I also read another suggestion of adding A1 and ketchup, which I did. My husband loved this stew!!! Can't wait for leftovers. I made some Cajun cornbread to go with it.
