Ingredient Checklist

Directions

Instructions Checklist
  • Combine Greek yogurt, frozen bananas, and sugar in a blender; blend until smooth.

  • Pour yogurt mixture into an ice cream maker. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions until yogurt is the texture of soft-serve ice cream, about 15 minutes. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips.

Cook's Notes:

When bananas are too ripe to eat, peel them and keep in a freezer bag for smoothies and ice cream.

As an alternative, mix walnuts and chocolate chips into the yogurt mixture after blending and put directly into the freezer.

This is ok. It's kinda like eating a smoothie with a spoon. My husband loves it but it didn't taste like frozen yogurt you'd get at FroYos or somewhere. It's not a recipe I would make again. Read More

This was just okay for me. Not sure I liked the tang of the greek yogurt in this. I think I'd prefer a milk/cream mixture instead. Good concept though with the frozen banana chocolate chips and walnuts. Read More
