  2. Spread cherry pie filling in a 9x12-inch glass dish.
  3. Pour cake mix into a large bowl. Stir in butter slowly until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle crumbly mixture over cherry pie filling.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until top is golden, 30 to 32 minutes.

Made it just as the instructions said and it turned out great!

My mom used to make this all the time when last minute company would be coming over. Quick, easy and delicious served warm with ice cream! A great childhood memory rediscovered!!!

I just made this and it looks delicious!

It's not as crunchy as I wish it were. My mum has a similar recipe and her recipe calls for chopped pecans.
