I hate when people judge other people s creations when obviously if they had a better recipe for it they wouldn t need to use someone else s. I liked this recipe. Even with having to leave out a few ingredients it was good. Good job ddmama! Read More

The chowder was a good throw-it-in-the-pot relatively quick and easy meal but nothing to write home about. It allowed me to use up some extra kale I had in the fridge but I don't think I'd go out of my way to make it again Read More

This is great! Have made it twice, pretty much as the recipe reads. Used veg broth not chicken and cut that way back as am using a small slow cooker. The herb mixture is perfect, including the plain black pepper. I sautéed the carrots and potatoes in a 12” frypan, then added everything to that pan to mix well, break up the salmon, before putting into the crockpot. Used spinach instead of kale and put that in only at the last 20 min or so. Serve w cornbread or breadsticks, took it to work. Just delish, warm, but not heavy. Read More

Great recipe however a bit was left open.. 1 potato was left highly to interpretation.. 1 russet potato could equal 2-3 red or golden potatoes for instance. (I used 3 golden potatoes). Substituted canned salmon with fresh salmon cut into chunks. Instead of kale, I ended up substituting for celery (none of the kale in store looked good). Included is a picture once fully prepped.
