  1. Bring broth to a boil in a large saucepan; add macaroni and reduce heat to medium-high. Cook according to package directions, stirring frequently. DO NOT DRAIN.
  2. Remove from heat; stir in cheeses and black pepper, if desired, until cheese is melted.


  • Variation:
  • To make One-Pan Chicken Cheddar Mac, prepare recipe as directed, except boil 8 oz. cubed, boneless, skinless chicken breast halves in broth in Step 1.

This will be my go-to mac and cheese from now on. Of course cooks always embellish/change recipes to suit dietary needs or fussy eaters or just for giggles; and I'm no different. I cooked a half...

I was nervous because growing up I have always had baked mac n cheese. I tried this today and it was amazing. I added bread crumbs to the top and my family and friends loved it.
