  1. Stir butternut squash, sausage, potatoes, celery, carrots, chickpeas, crushed tomatoes, onion, tomato sauce, green bell pepper, garlic, curry powder, cumin, five-spice powder, salt, and pepper together in a slow cooker or tagin.
  2. Cover and cook on High until butternut squash is tender and sausage is cooked through, about 2 hours and 30 minutes. If possible, stir ingredients halfway through the cooking process. (This can be cooked on Low for 5 hours)

This was very hearty! I used precooked turkey sausage and put it in at the end just because I didn't want the grease. Will make again!

Such a unique and yummy recipe! Next time I will try it with sweet potatoes instead of russet just to have some fun, but it's great as written too!
