I left out the olive oil for a lighter version but added a couple shakes of toasted sesame oil for flavor. Also added caraway seeds for a little more nutty flavor. Used what I had on hand so no red pepper or onion but the scallions were enough and added the garlic scapes I had too. Wonderful summer salad. Ate it for 4 days!

I made this today using Napa Cabbage bc my store didn't have the Savoy on hand & I used Toasted Sesame Oil instead of Olive Oil bc I simply LOVE Toasted Sesame Oil! this slaw is amazing! I'll be making this weekly! Next time I'm going to also top it with Sunflower Seeds. I think the nuttiness will add yet another tasty dimension to this fabulous dish! so happy to find an Asian slaw recipe that doesn't include ramen or chow mein noodles!
Was a big hit! I dressed the salad in advance, about 2 hrs ahead bc I wanted the cabbage to soften. I only used 1 head of cabbage. I thought the peanut flavor was a bit heavy but everyone loved it. Will make again.
Delicious! I did not have any onions so I did not use them and it was a perfect side dish. I used gluten free soy sauce to accommodate someone with allergies! And I sprinkled with sesame seeds since I had them around. I will make this a part of my rotation!

I made this salad exactly as described in the recipe. Very delicious. Served it with chinese spare ribs and fried rice. I will definitely make it again!
I love this. So easy. Made it for a picnic! It was THE only salad bowl that was nearly empty. I did make it the day before so it marinated. Thank you!!!
I added snap peas instead if the peppers. Luv the crunch, simple ingredients, and tasty flavor! This went wonderfully with my tuna steaks.
Made exactly as directed for board game. party. Unfortunately, it was not good and a lot was left over. Will not try again.
I love coleslaw and tried this for something different. The only change I made was in using Nappa Cabbage, and that was just because I couldn't find Savoy Cabbage. My family really liked it and I will definitely make it again.
This was a nice variation on our usual coleslaw, great for a change. It got mixed reviews at our house.
It was OK, but not great. Bland. I added a bit more vinegar to leftovers. Hope it will improve overnight.
