Simply Marinated Mushrooms

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add mushrooms and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and drain.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, thyme, salt, lemon juice, garlic, pepper, parsley and onion powder. Add mushrooms and toss until coated. Chill in marinade overnight, and reheat to serve.

Great! Wouldn't change a thing! Saute mushrooms after removing from marinade just before serving until lightly brown. Reserve wonderful marinade, great for dipping bread and pouring over steak ...

This recipe was easy and tasty, but much too salty for me. I'll make it again, but cut way down on the salt.

Loved the mushrooms! i also added a bit of white wine to the mix.
