  1. Whisk honey, balsamic vinegar, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until smooth. Add nectarine slices and stir to coat.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add nectarine slices, reserving honey mixture in the bowl. Cook nectarine slices over high heat for 5 minutes; flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer nectarines and butter to the honey mixture and stir in sour cream. Serve hot or cold.


  • Cook's Notes:
  • Cut the honey down to 1/4 cup and add 1/4 cup brown sugar instead, if desired.
