Original recipe yields 4 servings (4 4 1/2-ounce jars)
- Place apples in a microwave-safe container; cover and cook in the microwave until tender, about 2 minutes. Add strawberries; cover and cook in the microwave for 1 minute more.
- Transfer apples and strawberries to a blender; pulse until smooth and mixture reaches a consistency similar to yogurt or applesauce.
- Cook's Note:
- I used Ambrosia apples in mine, but any kind can be used. Also, the apples can be peeled prior to microwaving, which is recommended if you're giving it to your baby. I chose not to for added texture.
