  1. Combine garlic scapes, basil, parsley, Parmesan cheese, scallion bulb, salt, and black pepper in a food processor; pulse to chop. Pour olive oil in slowly, with the processor running, until pesto sauce is smooth.


  • Cook's Note:
  • Substitute 2 garlic cloves for the garlic scapes if desired.
  • Add pine nuts if you like.
