"This recipe was a total accident. Never thought when I asked for light rum that I would be given mango-flavored rum, but it turned out wonderfully. Nice and tropical, yet has that cool, minty flavor."

  1. Place mint leaves in a large drinking glass. Add 1 lime wedge; crush together with a muddler to extract juices. Add 1 more lime wedge and sugar; mix with the muddler until sugar is dissolved. Remove lime peels from the glass.
  2. Stir lemon-lime soda, club soda, and mango-flavored rum together in a measuring cup. Pour soda mixture over the mint mixture in the glass. Mix in ice. Garnish with 1 lime wedge.


  • Cook's Notes:
  • You can juice the lime instead of using the wedges if preferred. Follow the same steps, adding 2 tablespoons lime juice instead of each lime wedge.
  • Substitute tonic water for the club soda if preferred.
