Delicious! I used sweet onion in place of the red and added in a bit of green pepper that I had to use up. The beauty of this recipe is that you can put anything in it! I'm a cheeseburger lover, and this rated right up there with the traditional one. Next time, the family wants me to add bacon. This is a definite keeper...YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)
I used ground Turkey and added Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard to the meat.
I removed the garlic and onion
Very good quick meal. Easy prep, and even easier cooking time. A definite must to have in your recipe book.
This was really good and was a nice change up from the standard cheeseburger. I did find it took about 4 tablespoons of milk though, but that really wasn’t an issue, just a personal preference, as I like my “cheese sauce” gooey. My 1000 Island dressing was homemade (mayo, ketchup, sweet salad cubes & a bit of Sweet ‘n Low to take the twang off). When finished, I topped them with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes & a dollop of sour cream, along with a side dressing of salsa (in case you wanted to dip them). Hubby said these were a winner & I agree 110%.
Great for dinner, very easy and quick! I couldn’t make them fast enough!
Added in some adobo spice and it was great, i'd defiantly make it again.
