  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Stir together cake mix, butter and egg. Spread mixture evenly into bottom of a 13x9-inch baking pan.
  2. Blend together sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice. Pour mixture over top of cake mix mixture.
  3. Bake for 23 to 27 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into 1 1/2x3 1/4-inch bars.

I didn't make any changes the first time. Next time I will add 1 tsp lemon zest. I would like it a little more lemony. I will probably tweak this each time I make it. My honey loved it.

Absolutely wonderful. This is a very popular desert in our family and its often requested.

Easy and delicious. Tip: make ahead and store in fridge before serving. Cold storage provides a more dense, decadent consistency and flavor!

I would like the crust to have been more cookie like . my husband loved it.

These were great, but the top was sticky. I made them a second time and topped with coconut before baking. They were perfect!
