  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 13x9-inch pan.
  2. Combine cake mix, eggs, applesauce and oil in large bowl. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Stir in nuts. Pour into bake pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Invert onto cooling rack. Turn right-side up. Cool completely.
  4. For frosting, combine frosting and cinnamon; stir until blended. Spread over cooled cake.

This was very good and easy. Hubby loved it. I added some golden raisins and used a cream cheese frosting instead of store bought. Came out great.

This is really light. The only problem I had was the flour was stuck to the cake sides & bottom. I managed to get most off though. Otherwise, the applesauce adds a nice flavor without overpoweri...

Made it last night! Very good, used cinnamon applesauce and made my own cream cheese frosting.
