- Combine water, lentils, and salt in a saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; stir in balsamic vinegar and sugar. Cover and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until lentils are tender, about 20 minutes.
- Transfer lentils to a bowl. Add radishes; toss to combine.

- The lentils should soak up most of the water, but ensure there is enough moisture in the pan to prevent the lentils from sticking and burning by adding a little extra water if needed.
