  1. Cook ground turkey and onion in a medium saucepan over medium heat; cook and stir until turkey is no longer pink and cooked through. Stir in garlic, chili powder, chipotle peppers with adobo sauce; stir until turkey is coated and fragrant. Drain excess fat from pan. Transfer mixture to a bowl.
  2. Using the same saucepan, prepare Knorr(R) Fiesta Sides(TM) - Spanish Rice according to package instructions. When the rice is cooked, add the ground turkey mixture, tomatoes, and green chiles; stir until heated through. Serve, if desired, with chopped cilantro, onion and/or shredded cheese.

  • Cook's Note:
  • For a less spicy chili, add less adobo sauce.

I can't attest to how the Knorr's side comes out with this as I can't have it and made Best Spanish Rice (from this site). Otherwise, made recipe as written and it was perfect--easy to make and ...

The rice mix was mostly noodles not rice. So it got mushy. The chipotle overpowered any other flavor. This was mushy goo. Won't do this again.

Chili is now my favorite food because of this recipe! Such a quixotic and tenacious dish! My teen even approved!
