  1. Heat a small skillet over low heat; spray with cooking spray. Add apple, season with salt, and cook until warmed through, 1 to 2 minutes. Sprinkle lemon juice over apples and toss to coat. Stir in raisins, cinnamon, and sweetener. Cook until apples are easily pierced with a fork, adding water if mixture is too dry, 5 to 7 minutes.

This is a very "simple and light" apple topping, and I liked it! I used orange juice instead of lemon juice because it's what I had, and it worked just fine. I cooked my apples on low heat for 1...

I have made this several times, but I used Splenda brown sugar blend and left out the raisins. It's good with pork roast
