Reviews for Easy Cloud Bread
I followed the recipe and I loved it. It felt so good to be able to eat a sandwich again. It was slightly sweet but you can omit the sweetener or season to make it savory. For a sweet treat, I dusted one with Swerve confectioners sugar replacement. It was like eating a very light cookie or pastry.
They are fine but I'm not sure what to do with them
Wow I was not expecting the flavor. So few ingredients but taste great. I was also surprised that for it to be so light but be able to hold together as a sandwich. Way better than gluten free bread. Very quick n easy to make up. Thank you for the recipe.
This cloud bread is a very light bread. Has an eggy taste, I tried the first bun plain, the other with butter and the last with grape jelly, and they all tasted great. I followed the recipe as directed, except that I use low fat cream cheese. I didn't have regular cream cheese. And next time I'll bake it for only 20 minutes because they got kind of dark.other than that Everything came out great.
I followed the recipe exactly. Mine were ready in twenty minutes. They were delicious!
My new favorite, I loveeeeeeeeeeee Cloud Bread ;-)
not bad at all really delicate bread but very good substitute only thing i needed to find out cause not on recipes is eggs need to be at room temp or they will not peak ... also i used stiva sugar instead of white sugar .. turned out great
Made exactly per recipe. While I appreciate that this is a good substitute for bread/buns for those who follow a gf diet, I just couldn't get past the eggy taste enough to enjoy. Sorry, it won't be a repeat, however, it was fun to try a new recipe, especially after seeing this cloud bread trending online for the past few months!
Made as per direction's .. I use my silicone round egg mold to make my bread circles all the same .. just fill it and lift off to make your next one .. love the fact that I can have bread on a low carb diet ..
No changes, it was excellent.
Super easy and light bread for gluten free people like my son and me!!!
Very easy with a mild flavor. Cooked it for 20 minutes and the recipe made 8 buns.
I definitely will make these again, but i don't see the purpose of the sugar, so I will leave it out next time. Also, bake time was more like 15 Mins. Looking forward to adding flavors like garlic or cinnamon, too. They are a great substitute for bread when you can't have it and really miss it.
I love this! I omitted the sugar to keep carbs lower and it turned out perfect! I used it as hamburger buns and it held up great! This will be a staple in my home since I don't usually eat traditional bread.
Substituted full fat cream cheese and splenda. Tada, keto friendly. Tastes fantanstic!
I don't know why I was afraid to make this. Really simple process. Followed directions as written but did not add sugar since I am doing Keto. Turned out PERFECT! Topped with sesame and/or poppy seeds prior to baking. Looks, smells and has texture of bakery croissant.
I made this a few days ago and my family loved it, including our 5 yr grandaughter. My husband asked me to make it again today.
Love cloud bread it's so easy to make. I use it to make yummy blts
Turned out exactly like the picture after 20 minutes baking. I replaced the sugar with sugar substitute to make it carb-free, but it doesn't really need sugar. It's a good platform for a hamburger or chicken sandwich!
This was TERRIBLE. Do NOT waste your time and ingredients on this, please! My cream cheese was very soft and all my ingredients were room temperature. My egg whites whipped up well so that's not the issue. When i went to mix the cream cheese and yolk mixture with the egg whites, it took so long to mix together. It was impossible for me to adequately fold the mixture without deflating the egg whites completely. So, when I tried to put it on the pan, runny liquid ran out of the batter and all over the pan. I had to use tons of paper towels to try and sop it up. I finally got to a place where the batter seemed to be ok, so I put them in the oven. After only 15 mins, they were totally burnt and gross. I am a fairly experienced home baker and this was BAD. Please, just believe me and move on to another recipe.
I like the taste and it's an easy to have a protein snack on hand. I don't think I did it right as mine came out very very flat. I used cottage cheese as a cream cheese sub but it was low fat and I think that matters. I will try it again with cream cheese in a few days. I think I didn't beat the egg whites long enough but I will definitely do it until I get it right
I followed the recipe and I’m not 100% sure what I did wrong but it was not good.
Wasn't expecting "bread" just something low carb to serve with soup and these certainly fit the bill! The cream cheese didn't fully incorporate with the egg mix, so some 'buns' were more cheesy than others, otherwise no complaints Will experiment further using differing spices, herbs etc. Came across the recipe elsewhere and used eggs whites only (equivalent of 3 whole eggs) with about 2 tsps honey (didn't measure) in place of the sugar and Neufchatel cheese.
The recipe turned out fine and only baked them for 20 minutes. I was really excited but once they were ready, I did not care for the flavor or texture. My husband did not care for the flavor or texture either. Oh well.
I'm ecstatic! I hadn't heard of this 'cloud bread' until just a few weeks ago! My search led me to this recipe and I love it! It was so easy and tasty! I used Splenda in place of the sugar. Sure, it is NOT bread, but boy oh boy, it's a great substitute! Will be making again, and experimenting with savoury flavours, herbs, etc.
I wasn't sure what to think about this recipe, but, I had high hopes based on the reviews. Unfortunately, this recipe did not work for me. Both my husband and I thought it similar to a sweet fluffy egg.
Delicious! Great with a slice of ham. Add mayo (or your favorite savory condiment.) I use 2 to make a great sandwich!
Made these today. Fairly easy and very tasty. Does anyone know ewe can be frozen?
Temp is too high ...... less than 10 minutes i had to take them out ... little burn on the bottom ..........
I added 1tbs sugar by mistake and it was good. This was easy and different good with jam for breakfast.
Tasty and easy to make. I added sesame seeds and will add spices next time. It would be very easy to make these savory or sweet depending on what you add to them.
I did not make any changes to the recipe and I will definitely make it again.
tasty! it was too runny to make separate "buns" so I just poured on the lined pan. only had to bake for 10 min. if 30 per directions, it may have been a cracker! tasted kind of sweet..reminded me of Hawaiian bread flavorwise.. made 2 "buns" from the recipe. would make again.
Super easy and quick to make. Made my carb free dancer-daughter very happy!
Made the Cloud Bread, looked beautiful, anxiously awaited to see how it would be the next day, the bread is sticky and very moist. Did I do something wrong? I thought it would be drier like bread. Any help? I want to get it right. This would be a great replacement for high carb breads!
I love this recipe and I make it a lot but, I always have the same problem. It all turns to liquid and I don't know how to prevent this from happening. Any feed back to let me know what I may be doing wrong would be amazing. I beat the egg whites into stiff peaks but, once I add in the egg yolk mixture it just turns runny. I love this but, it drives me nuts! Please help!
Great for low carbers! Left out the sugar the second time I made them and they were just as good! Great bread substitute.
I made these and substituted the cream cheese with mascarpone cheese.
Only needed 10m in the oven (ours is fan-assisted)
I made these as BLT buns and they were VERY good! My dad made them before so I knew they were good, but he made them a long time ago so I wanted to try it again. I just used a bit of the sugar because I wasn’t sure, but it was good.
Used hot pepper vinegar instead of the cream of tarter...delish!
Messed up a bit I use an all in one electric oven, messed around and put it on confection oven instead of just bake. Next time I will not use sugar made it to sweet. Make a good dessert with the sugar in it, but not good for sandwiches.
Quick and easy to make. Be sure to have ingredients at room temperature, for best results. Mine cooked in less than 20 minutes...after 15 minutes I cut oven back to 325 degrees. Next time I will start baking at 325!
I am a fussy eater and made these about 40 years ago and found them to taste really good! At that time I had made them for someone that was on the Atkin's diet (but tasted them myself).
Easy to make and works well to replace bread for hamburgers and sandwiches!
Very interesting. I don't think I had anything like it before. Didn't turn out how I had hoped.
I have made this 3 times now and love it. I am a bread lover So it satisfies!! Wouldn't change a thing
Turned out great, we loved it. will be making again.
Turned out delicious. Instead of using I used Whole Earth Sweetener. Next time I am going to add cheese and jalapeños!!
These cloud bread buns were so easy to make and very delicious. I did not use sugar. After I placed the ‘bread’ on the pan, I sprinkled with oregano and Romano cheese to make it more savory. Wonderful flavor.
