  • Combine the beer, syrup, honey, cornstarch, cinnamon and black pepper in a large skillet and bring to a boil, stirring frequently; reduce heat and simmer for 15 - 17 minutes, stirring frequently, until it has been reduced by half.

So easy to make and tasted great with the cheese and crackers. I used a combination of swiss and sharp cheddar. When making the sauce I skipped the corn starch knowing the honey would thicken up nicely the longer it cooked. I was right. Makes a very tasty appetizer or snack. Read More
