  • Bring water, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, white sugar, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice to a simmer in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir until thickened to syrup consistency, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat and cool syrup, about 5 minutes. Stir in vanilla extract; cool to room temperature.

i cut each sugar by half....if you use pumpkin pie spice blend why are you also adding the individual spices? One of the other is sufficient. Pumpkin pie spice blend is cinnamon, ginger, allspice and nutmeg (I add cloves). Read More

Way way WAY too much ginger. Because it sounded like too much ginger I cut the ginger in half. Half was still too much ginger. Couldn't even taste the pumpkin because so much spice. Read More

Really good. I didn’t have pie spice blend but used all of the other spices. I used the full amount of ginger tried using less like other viewers said but then it was super meh. I did half the sugar and it was plenty sweet and added some cloves to but amazing. I live it in my coffee. If tastes like a more spices and less sweet version of pumpkin pie. Read More
