  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  • Combine hominy, garlic, and jalapeno in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until hominy is tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Strain out liquid and pour hominy mixture into baking dish. Stir sour cream and butter into hominy mixture; top with Cheddar cheese.

  • Bake in preheated oven until cheese melts, about 25 minutes.

I've never had hominy before but I really enjoyed this dish! It was very east to put together and had great flavor. Hubby also enjoyed this but the kids not so much. I liked that this didn't make a ton either. I would def make this again! Thanks for sharing.:) Read More
