Italian Sausage and Gnocchi Soup

Simple recipe for a delicious fast weeknight supper. I added about 1/4 cup of chopped Parmesan cheese rind (that I had been saving for just such an occasion) with the chicken broth and cream. It added a wonderful depth of flavor to the soup and I didn't have to add any additional salt.
