  1. Heat the broth, celery, onion and apples in a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables and apples are tender.
  2. Add the sausage and stuffing and stir lightly to coat.

  • For an Interesting Twist: Omit the apples. Add 1/2 teaspoon chili powder. Use 1/2 pound smoked chorizo sausage, casing removed and cut into 1/2-inch pieces for the pork sausage.

This is a very easy recipe. It reminds me of fall.

I added some garlic to the sausage when cooking... sometimes some finely diced carrots as well as craisins. Whatever strikes my mood at the time. It ALWAYS comes out great!

Super easy and yummy! I doubled the sausage as we really like sausage. Came out perfect!
