Great! I did however make a few adjustments. I did not have any heavy cream on hand, instead I added a can of cheese soup, about a cup of milk and minced garlic to taste. I used less shredded cheese because of the soup. The result was creamy and delicious! I think I will continue to make it this way and maybe add some cherry tomatoes and real bacon bits next time. (per the husband's request) ;) Read More

I loved the option of using only one pan and not having to drain the pasta. I also loved the finished dish and served it with Italian sausage. We are not big al dente fans and tt the end of the recommended 10 minute cooking time it was not done enough for our liking. I added another 1/2 cup of water and 6 minutes and it was perfect. Looking forward to trying more of these recipes. Read More

This recipe is very versatile. You can add any kind of cheese and vegetables you want and have it taste like a new meal. This would be great with bits of ham, shrimp, etc. It's a super easy time saver when you are in a hurry. I added extra sharp cheddar and think it was better with a bit more cheese (used an entire 8 oz stick grated). Read More

This was my first time using the Barilla Pronto pasta and I couldn't be happier! It was so quick to make and the pasta had the perfect texture with a yummy, creamy, cheesy sauce. The pronto pasta is huge time saver on a busy weeknight and I can't wait to try some of the other recipes on the hub. Read More

I made Barilla's Creamy One Pan Broccoli Cheddar Penne dish to test out their Pronto Pasta. I decided to add Italian sausage slices just to add some meat to the meal. Cooking the Pronto Pasta was super easy and it was al dente at that 10 minute cooking mark. It's a fairly simple recipe as you only have to add heavy cream, broccoli florets, cheddar cheese and some salt and pepper to season the dish. It's fast, easy and delicious! Everyone in our family loved this dish and I enjoyed making it. I can definitely say that I'll be making it again, especially with the boys heading to school in a couple of weeks! Read More

Made as is. The whole family loved it. Made it again and added vegetables from the garden along with some chicken from the day before. Chopped up the chicken and fried it real fast. Just enough to get it crispy. Awesome! Thank you. Send another recipe. Can't wait Read More

My family loved this easy, one-pan meal! It's one of the fastest dinners I've ever made, that satisfied everyone. The Barilla Pronto pasta was fantastic, and the cook time was exactly right for me. Just make sure to keep stirring the last few minutes of cooking so your pasta doesn't stick to the pan. This was creamy-ooey-gooey goodness and perfect for a busy weeknight or lazy weekend afternoon. I think the main reason why this dish has such high reviews, is simply because it is quick & easy. The flavor was just OK. It definitely needs seasoning & a saucier sauce. The noodles were too dry for my liking. IF I were to make this again, I'd prob add my own seasonings & a different sauce perhaps. Read More

This is such a easy and quick addition to any meal. The flavors was good and went well with our BBQ. We even turned this into a one pan meal a second time by adding chucks of cooked chicken. I really suggest using a good quality cheese to avoid the gritty texture some cheaper shredded cheese can give. Read More
