  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  2. Whisk olive oil, garlic, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper together in a large bowl; add sweet potatoes and stir until thoroughly coated.
  3. Place coated sweet potatoes on the preheated grill; cook, flipping sweet potatoes every 5 minutes, until crisp around the edges and tender in the middle, 15 to 20 minutes.

  • Cook's Note:
  • For spicier sweet potatoes, use 2 tablespoons chile oil and 2 tablespoons olive oil.
  • If you don't want to grill these, you can bake them in the oven. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Arrange prepared sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and follow step 3.

No changes to ingredients, baked in oven, added 10 minutes, used a 1 pound pkg of organic baby yams. Very tasty, flavor from lime juice stands out above others, right amount of spice from cumin ...

This is a wonderful recipe! Wow! I added Cayenne Pepper powder to it. Grilled inside on my burners. Yumm!

I did this recipe in my Actifry and it tastes great with a lot less oil. Healthier that way.

Be careful not to let them burn. They cooked a lot faster than I thought.

Maybe cook them a little less...Ibaked them. Maybe better on the BBQ. Good flavour but just okay.

Some burned, some mushy, and some okay. Won't try again.

Flavor was good but very hard to cook eveningly on a grill. I will not make this again.
