  1. Blend basil leaves, tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, pine nuts, and garlic together in a blender until a smooth paste forms. Stir in lemon juice; season with salt and black pepper.

The family loved it. It was simple and quick. Didn't have an issue with the salt and we used half Parmesan and half pecorino Romano. Yummy.
