This was given to me by a friend, I was really surprised at how much it really helps when I feel tired. I keep mine in the freezer then pull a couple out when I need a pick-me-up and they are ready for me to eat. You can substitute almond butter for peanut butter, if desired.

My recipe is very similar. My little ones gobble them up. I use raisins instead of chocolate chips and put the oats and raisins through the food chopper. The finer oatmeal texture helps the smaller bite size balls hold together better and the kids who say they don't like oatmeal don't know it's what they are eating. I have also substituted wheat germ for flax meal Read More

Easy and tastes yummy! I put the oats in the blender and substituted almond meal for the flax. I didn't have mini chocolate chips so put the regular ones in the blender, too, just enough to chop them up a bit. Read More

My husband and kids love this recipe. They like it with mini M&Ms I like the Mini chocolate chips. I use the Chunky Skippy Peanutbutter because that is what we buy. Other than that we follow the recipe and keep them in the fridge. It's a great snack. Read More
