Shepherd's Pie VI
December 29, 2006

OK, I have FINALLY perfected (at least for us) this recipe. I brown usually around 1 - 1.5 lbs of ground beef. I try and get something lean. Add two tablespoons of flour and mix it in. Then add two tablespoons of ketchup, 1/4 cup of worcheshire sauce, a packet of brown gravy and one cup of water. When it starts to thicken I add about a cup and a half of mixed veggies (corn, green beans, carrots, and peas). Simmer until thickened. Put in a 2 quart casserole dish cover with mashed potatoes and whatever else you like (I add slivers of butter to the potatoes) and bake at 375 for 20 minutes. FANTASTIC!!!!!
