"This is a delicious, dairy free hot chocolate that is easy to make and taste just like traditional dairy hot chocolate. I used coconut-almond milk mix for a coconut taste, but you could definitely use any non-dairy milk."

  1. Stir coconut-almond milk blend, cocoa powder, maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt together in a saucepan over medium heat; stir with a whisk to dissolve solids while the mixture heats to your desired temperature.


  • Cook's Notes:
  • For an even sweeter drink, increase brown sugar amount to 2 tablespoons.
  • For a thicker, creamier beverage, add a splash of dairy-free creamer.

I didn’t have coconut milk so I just used almond and it still tasted great!

A delicious dairy free hot chocolate. I added a ghost in the cup for Halloween.
