Energizing and refreshing and a simple way to get your greens! Perfect first thing in the morning or as a savory afternoon treat. I like to add a pinch of salt to really bring out the flavors. I sometimes like to kick it up with a chunk of jalapeno pepper thrown in the mix.

Instructions Checklist

  • Fill a glass with ice and add juice.

Cook's Note:

Adjust lemon to your personal preference. If the lemon is small I use half; if larger, I use a quarter or a third. No need to peel the lemon.

Since the heat of jalapenos can vary greatly, start out with 1/4 or 1/3 of a small pepper, and adjust accordingly.
