Crunchy Sesame Lemon Asparagus

  1. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-low heat; cook and stir sesame seeds until lightly toasted, 3 to 5 minutes. Add lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper; stir until evenly combined.
  2. Place a steamer insert into a saucepan and fill with water to just below the bottom of the steamer. Bring water to a boil. Add asparagus, cover, and steam until tender, 2 to 4 minutes.
  3. Transfer asparagus to a serving plate and drizzle sesame-butter over the top.

Loved the lemony taste of the sauce. Asparagus was just right. Easy as pie!!

added little less butter and it was great. will probably use a little less the next time.

Loved this recipe. It was so quick and tasty without being overpowering. We baked the asparagus at 400 degrees for 12 minutes then drizzled butter mixture on top. Be warned, sesame seeds burn so...
