I used mozzarella cheese instead of Swiss and I used thousand island dressing instead of French and it turned out amazing!

This was so easy and fast to make after work. Loved the flavor. I will be making this more.
Made this for dinner and the hubby loved it! I did the switch with mozzarella and thousand island dressing. Also added extra layer of chicken.... He just gave me a thumbs up!
My husband and I loved this casserole! Ate the whole thing in 2 meals. I used thousand island dressing instead of french and mozzarella instead of swiss because that's what I had in the house. I will definitely make this again. I wish we had more leftovers.
I made it, but I had boneless chicken thighs that I cut into strips and I layered them at the bottom of my 9x13 pan. Then I added sauerkraut drained not rinsed on top, poured 1000 dressing over (practically all 16oz), layered sliced swiss cheese, and dried Italian Bread on top cut in cubes (didn't have rye). Put in the oven 350° for 45mins. Delicious!!!!!
I used 2 large chicken breast halves with bones and cooked 20 mins alone then continued. I did sub 1000 dressing and had a bit more sauerkraut, used 1/2 the amount of cheese. I cooked it in a lasagna size pan and wish I had a bit more stuffing. Really good recipe.
