IPA Corned Beef

Rated as 3.5 out of 5 Stars

"This by far has been my most successful corned beef recipe that I've done. Instead of using Guinness® or an American lager like most recipes call for, I used a hoppy Lagunitas Wilco Tango Foxtrot IPA which cooked some amazing flavors into the corned beef."

  1. Coat corned beef with spicy brown mustard and place, fat-side down, into a slow cooker. Add garlic and seasoning packet to corned beef; pour in beer, covering beef completely.
  2. Cook on Low for 8 hours. Remove corned beef from slow cooker and allow to rest for 15 minutes before slicing across the grain.

  • Cook's Note:
  • While this recipes uses a specific IPA, all IPAs will be sure to add extra flavor to your corned beef.
  • Partner Tip
  • Try using a Reynolds® slow cooker liner in your slow cooker for easier cleanup.

Made as written and loved every bite. The spicy brown mustard and IPA beer blended perfectly. I made 2 different corned beef recipes for St. Patrick's Day and hands down this one was my favorite.
