  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, brown sausage in large deep skillet on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally to break up sausage. Drain; return sausage to skillet. Stir in zucchini, peppers and pizza sauce; cook 5 to 6 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.

  • Drain pasta. Add to sausage mixture with VELVEETA; mix lightly. Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with Parmesan.

  • Bake 15 to 20 min. or until heated through.

Trim 40 calories and 9 grams of fat per serving by preparing with extra-lean ground beef and 2% Milk VELVEETA.

Kid Friendly:

Prepare as directed, substituting 1 lb. lean ground beef for the sausage and 1 cup each shredded carrots and zucchini for the 3 cups sliced zucchini. Also, try using a fun pasta shape, such as wagon wheels.

This was nice and homey and fed 5 hungry adults. I did have to make some substitutions however: I used jarred roasted peppers, fresh mushrooms and sliced yellow squash. I also used ground beef with Italian sausage spices and added some sliced pepperoni. Didn't have Parma so used mozzarella instead. Tasty and a good way to serve generous portions. Read More

This was okay. Even though I made a few subs, the reason I didn't care much for it was the Velveeta cheese. If I make this again I would cut the Velveeta in half (1/4 lb) because I felt it overpowered the dish, or maybe use a different cheese. Also, I used a 14 oz jar of pizza sauce and think it could have used more, but I also like a lot of noodles in my casseroles. Read More

I sautéd an onion and added garlic powder, oregano, basil and fresh parsley. I used diced tomatoes instead of the pizza sauce (didn’t have any). Delicious! Will definitely make this again & for a family dinner. Read More

I agree a little bland so I added red onion chopped green onion chopped garlic paste garlic powder and onion powder also used far more of pizza sauce and sausage topped with layer of mozzarella then parmesean I precooked the sausage and used same pan with a little water for veggies then added the cooked sausage to mix and heated through..
