  1. Prepare a baking dish and a large mixing bowl with non-stick cooking spray. Pour cereal into a large mixing bowl and set next to your stove.
  2. Heat caramel bits and butter together in a large saucepan over low heat until both are melted and the mixture is smooth, about 5 minutes; add marshmallows. Continue to cook the mixture, stirring regularly, until the marshmallows are melted and the mixture is smooth, about 5 minutes; pour immediately into the middle of the cereal in the bowl and quickly stir to coat cereal completely.
  3. Spread the coated cereal into the prepared baking dish. Spray the back of a spoon with cooking spray and use it to press the cereal into an even layer. Let cereal cool completely before cutting into squares.

OMG these are amazing!!! Just made these. Easy to make and the flavor is a caramel lovers dream! definitely going in my Christmas goodies baskets! Thank you!

I just made this with FRUITY PEBBLES and pure vanilla extract (add the same time as the salt.) They turned out AMAZING!!!

Instead of caramel i used M&M's

The only thing I did differently was to use waxed paper to press the mixture into the dish instead of an oiled spoon. What's not to like about this sweet treat?! Yummy!

I sprinkled semi sweet chocolate chips over the top and heated in oven to melt. then spread chips, cooled and cut. Yummy!

So good I added 12 oz of cereal and came out great !!

A simple childhood favorite with a twist.

Very good, but a little too sweet for my taste.
