  • Prep

  • Cook

  • Ready In

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and coat the inside with olive oil. Add chicken and garlic; cook and stir until chicken begins to brown, about 5 minutes. Drizzle mustard and maple syrup over chicken mixture and stir to evenly coat chicken. Cook and stir chicken mixture over medium-low heat until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the sauce is thickened, 10 to 15 minutes more.

Footnotes

  • Cook's Note:
  • Adjust mustard and maple syrup if you prefer more or less sauce.
  • I use thighs because I prefer dark meat, but you can substitute chicken breast.

This is a very simple and easy recipe to make, but turns out so well. The combination sounds weird, but it turns out like a sweet and sour chicken

It was very easy and tasted good. It doesn’t make much sauce. I used all the ingredients except only 1 lb chicken. I would have liked much more sauce and next time will double the sauce ingre...

This recipe was quite a surprise. We had all the ingredients on hand and it was quick and easy make. Tasty too! I added a couple of pinches of dried cilantro for eye appeal more than anything...

This is a great recipe and the cook time was very reasonable! I added a few things. First, I cooked my chicken a little longer than 10 minutes. Second, I added small pieces of green bell pepper,...

Fast, easy, tasty. Browned the thighs with the garlic, added the mustard and honey, and finished 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Will definitely make again.

Quick and easy and YUMMY!

This recipe is very good but just needed a little more jazz for us. It still made a very tasty meal and I’ll just adjust it a little the next time to our tastes. Thanks for sharing!
