"This is the super-easy version of Gluhwein. Don't waste space in the pot with fruit. The spices and heat will add a whole new level to the sangria! This is always a big hit at my Christmas parties! You can use 1 whole orange peel in place of the whole lemon peel, if desired."

  1. Stir sangria, whole lemon peel, cinnamon sticks, and cloves together in a pot; bring to a simmer, reduce heat to low, and cook until flavors combine, about 5 minutes.
