Cinnamon Sugared Pecans

"My grandma makes these every year for the holidays. It's always handy to make extra for later snacking! They are relatively quick and easy to make and taste wonderful. I love the smell of these when they're in the oven."

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. Beat egg white in a large bowl with an electric mixer until frothy. Add pecans to egg white and stir until evenly coated.
  3. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt together in a separate bowl; add to pecans and stir until coated. Spread coated pecans onto a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until fragrant and crisp, about 25 minutes.

Warning: highly addictive.

325 for 25 minutes gave me burnt tasting pecans. 200 for 50 minutes gave me much better results.

Many of the pecans burned on the bottom in the last 5 to 7 minutes. Next time I’ll try lowering the temp from 325 to 300 for the last 10 minutes.

Just Perfect!

I will make again. and I might add a little more cinnamon or use a higher grade of cinnamon, but these are just about perfect.
