  1. Heat chocolate chips and chocolate-hazelnut spread together in a large pot over low heat until melted, about 5 minutes. Add 1/2 of the cereal to the chocolate mixture and stir until coated. Transfer the coated cereal to a large resealable bag and add 1/2 of the confectioners' sugar; seal bag and shake until cereal is coated. Transfer puppy chow to an airtight container. Repeat with remaining chocolate mixture, cereal, and confectioners' sugar.

  • For those of you who love peanut butter, do half and half with Nutella® and peanut butter!

As written, this recipe doesn't make sense. I put the Chex in a large mixing bowl, nuked the chocolate and the Nutella, then mixed it all together. I shook it in two zippies with powdered sugar ...

better with peanut butter

This is very addicting, I added peanut butter and it tastes divine!! (just a little messy)

Delish with a few tweaks— added 1/4 cup peanut butter and 2 TBLS butter melted with Nutella. Less messy than original plus PB was a subtle but tasty addition.
