Ingredient Checklist

Directions

Instructions Checklist
  • Rub barbeque seasoning into beef tips until meat has an orange hue, 3 to 5 minutes. Cut beef into 1-inch cubes.

  • Wrap each beef cube in a bacon slice and secure bacon slice with a toothpick.

  • Heat a skillet over medium-heat. Working in batches, cook wrapped beef tips in hot skillet until beef is browned all over and bacon is crispy, 5 to 10 minutes.

Cook's Note:

Touch your left or right index finger to your thumb gently. Now feel the muscle just below your thumb's knuckle. Can you feel how soft that muscle is? That is how soft your sirloin must be to appropriately season/tenderize it.

My review is for the idea. I marinated the steak in a good marinade which tenderized the steak and then wrapped it in bacon. I fried it on a cast iron grill pan and turned until the bacon was done. The steak was so tender and the bacon flavor was throughout. I used this for an appetizer but definitely a main dish. I put another steak in the marinade and making another batch for company in the next couple days. Read More
